We are currently recruiting for an Trade Counter Associate with Electrical Wholesale experience to join our team at our Watford branch. You will need to be self-driven, a good communicator and have solid commercial skills.
Overview of role:
As well as meeting our customers face to face, talking to our customers on the telephone and making outbound proactive sales calls is a key role in our business. As well as email, many of our customers deal with us via the phone so we need confident and friendly people who are motivated to pick up the telephone when it rings and handle all calls efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage customer enquiries and take their orders
• Generate new business by making outbound prospect calls
• Develop good communication skills to build strong customer relationships
• Take ownership of delivering for your customer and maintaining high standards
Your time will be split between a) managing existing accounts – including upselling, providing technical product advice, and b) finding new business.
Skills & Requirements:
• Carry yourself with professionalism at all times
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication skills including listening, verbal and written
• Ability to use own initiative and work proactively

Responsibilities:
• Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about the product, pricing and availability
• Going the extra mile to meet the Customer needs

• Data entry in various platforms
Skillset:
• Previous experience of selling large kitchen appliances (Fridges, Washing machines, Tumble dryers) across a broad range of Manufacturers
• Good telephone manner and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills including listening, verbal and written
• Experience of customer care would be beneficial plus experience of following an order through from start to finish

This is not a cold-call sales job. Orders are received by phone and email and then processed accordingly. Ideally, we are looking for someone who lives locally to the branch, Wandsworth Bridge, SW18.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
