We are currently recruiting for an Trade Counter Associate with Electrical Wholesale experience to join our team at our Watford branch. You will need to be self-driven, a good communicator and have solid commercial skills.
Overview of role:
As well as meeting our customers face to face, talking to our customers on the telephone and making outbound proactive sales calls is a key role in our business. As well as email, many of our customers deal with us via the phone so we need confident and friendly people who are motivated to pick up the telephone when it rings and handle all calls efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities:
âĒ Manage customer enquiries and take their orders
âĒ Generate new business by making outbound prospect calls
âĒ Develop good communication skills to build strong customer relationships
âĒ Take ownership of delivering for your customer and maintaining high standards

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking van driver to join our team in Wandsworth.
Main duties include:
â Accurate order picking and delivery
â Help with stock checks and housekeeping duties as required
â Manual handling involving bending and lifting in line with health and safety regulations
â Carry out deliveries
â Obtaining proof of delivery at delivery point
â Interacting with customers at point of delivery
â Checking stock into the warehouse and notifying of discrepancies
â Carrying out other tasks and duties as required
â Working as part of a team
â The job would suit someone with previous delivery driver experience
Experience and skills:
â Knowledge and experience of working in deliveries
â A valid fork lift truck licence would be beneficial, but not essential
â Clean driving licence essential
â Ability to communicate effectively
â Open to learning new skills
â High level of attention to detail
â Willing to comply with health and safety procedures at all times
â The role requires Manual Handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required
â Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic
